Gestalt Exercises 2

This is the magazine layout I use for Gestalt Exercises 2. The picture of the tree is use for the background of the whole first page. Introduction about the article is written in both side of the tree with the same color. This is too fill up the first page, prevent the page to be blank in audiences' eyes.

The second page start with a picture acting like a title of the body text. Also the 2 image in the bottom used as decoration, prevent white space.

Gestalt Exercises

This is the layout I made for Gestalt Exercises "The secret sex life of Plant".

This demonstrate on "secret", that's why I use 2 part. The upper part is the picture of the plant, and the lower part, I use black color to represent secret. I use my old design of the "wind" because it's also resemble "plant". And also the old design bring out the "mystery" for this layout.

When talking about the "sex life", most people will think about human. That's why I use the human face for this design.

Also I use the image of white plant to make opposition with the black layout below. One represent outside and the other represent inside.
